We decided to name our little classroom "The Rainbow Room" where we can try to incorporate lots of different colors and remind ourselves of the promises of God (Genesis 9:13). Our journey in home schooling this year is going to require relying on God's promises, that's for sure!! Though I may not feel qualified, God is faithful to His promises. We are praying He will be glorified in our learning each day!

Each Day is Unique!
There are two things I absolutely love about home schooling: the flexibility and the relationship building. Everyday is different and doesn't have to look the same and every day we get to be together! I love seeing Landon and Karis living life together building their relationship as brother and sister. And I REALLY love the time I get to foster my relationship with them!

Back to School Party
A friend of ours who is oh so gracious to us new home schoolers threw a Back to School Party! Landon has an incredible amount of fun playing with all the boys in the creek. It was a fun way to begin the new year with our friends.
My Father's World
We love starting our day by singing the "My Father's World" hymn that goes along with our curriculum. I could listen to these sweet little voices singing all day every day!

Day 3, Day 3 God Made Grass & Flowers & Trees!
You can tell we've hit day three! Our morning didn't go quite so smoothly, but thankfully we got to have a break outdoors! The weather is absolutely beautiful for August. We met some of our other homeschool friends for a walk on the nature trail. Today we learned about day three of creation and how God separated the water and made the dry land. It was a perfect day to explore the dirt, trees, rocks, and plants!
